Requirements
To maintain the directory's high standards, we have a set of requirements that learning communities must meet to be considered for inclusion. These include:
Your learning community requires active participation, where learners both consume and contribute knowledge, plus interact with fellow learners.
Your learning community is focused on adult learning.
Your learning community is primarily virtual.
Your learning community has been active for at least 1 year.
Your learning community has at least 50 members i.e. members that are currently enrolled in your program + alumni, or total members that are active.
Your learning community does not promote NSFW or violent content or programming.
How to apply
Getting your learning community listed on The Learning Community Directory is easy. Simply fill out the submission form with all of the necessary information about your community. Our team will review your submission to ensure that it meets our criteria for inclusion, and if approved, your community will be added to the directory for free.

A learning community is a purpose-built space focused on bringing people together to engage around powerful learning experiences. In the past, people learned passively through pre-recorded materials and from a single teacher. Today, and in the future, people learn best with each other: interacting, exchanging ideas, and building their network. Read our manifesto ->
No, but you can let them know about the directory and invite them to apply to be listed!
We limit applications to learning community operators only so we can more readily validate their listing and update it as their learning business continues to grow.
