Role Overview:

As an Account Executive, you’ll drive Disco’s growth by owning the end-to-end SaaS sales process—prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation, and closing. You’ll bring resourcefulness, tenacity, enthusiasm, and a consultative, entrepreneurial approach to win new customers and directly impact revenue. Reporting to the Head of Revenue & Ops, this high-visibility role includes regular collaboration with our Co-CEOs and leaders across Customer Success and Product, making it a key driver of Disco’s rapid expansion.

Disco is at an exciting inflection point—we’re a fast-growing startup that is scaling our go-to-market motion and expanding into new segments. We are looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves with urgency, and is energized by the opportunity to build. You’ve ideally been an early AE at a SaaS startup, where you’ve had to wear multiple hats, test and refine sales messaging, and help shape & iterate sales processes.

In the role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Prospect new business: Source leads through outreach, social selling, and your network.
  • Close new business: Own the full sales cycle (prospecting → demo → close), carry a quota, and meet quarterly targets.
  • Be a product expert: Guide buyers with deep Disco product knowledge, highlighting our AI differentiation and impact.
  • Be consultative: Add value in every conversation, focusing on solving client problems.
  • Collaborate: Partner with marketing, product, and customer success to share insights and advocate for customers.
  • Strategize: Take a data-driven, segment-specific approach to your sales process and continuously refine based on learnings.
  • Leverage AI in your workflow: Actively use AI tools to improve prospect research, account planning, discovery preparation, follow-ups, deal reviews, and pipeline forecasting.
  • Champion process: Uphold operational excellence by diligently managing CRM (HubSpot) and sales activities.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a minimum 3 years experience of full-cycle sales experience selling B2B SaaS with a track record of consistently hitting quota
  • Has a minimum 1 year experience selling into mid-market and above
  • Brings deep passion for the impact that AI can have on the future of learning
  • Takes initiative: Strong work ethic, bias for action, and good judgment on when to ask questions.
  • Builds relationships: Connects genuinely with diverse people and listens deeply to customers.
  • Shows grit: Perseveres through challenges with resilience.
  • Learns continuously: Embraces feedback and seeks new skills.
  • Communicates effectively: Crafts clear, impactful messages—written and verbal.
  • Leads with empathy: Uses emotional intelligence to understand and support teammates and customers.
  • Stays organized: Follows through, manages CRM diligently, and keeps operations tight.
  • Acts like an owner: Takes accountability, learns from mistakes, and avoids blame.
  • Brings experience: Skilled in sales pipeline management and familiar with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other prospecting tools.
