This month, we’ve focused on deeper AI-powered learning design, stronger mobile experiences, and smarter ways to manage members and private spaces. Here's what’s new in November:
Smarter Curriculum Generation Now Live
We're excited to announce that Disco’s curriculum generator just got an upgrade. Our AI curriculum generator now delivers deeper structure, more thoughtful design, and richer content.
What’s new:
- In-depth learning design: Curriculums are now scaffolded using modern instructional design principles.
- Canvas-first editing: Operators can iterate on the curriculum structure using the familiar canvas UI before generating lesson content.
- Smarter content generation: Final lessons are more comprehensive, contextual, and tailored to your prompt.
How to use it:
- Launch the generator when creating a new curriculum app—or start fresh by deleting existing modules.
- Use the canvas to shape your structure, then hit generate when ready.
Heads up: Content generation is still one-shot. If you’re not satisfied, tweak your structure or prompt and regenerate. We're exploring UX improvements to make this flow even more intuitive soon.
This is just the beginning of faster, smarter curriculum creation—powered by Disco AI.
Deactivate Members, Preserve Their History
Admins can now deactivate users while retaining their historical data.
What’s new:
- Revoke platform access for inactive or temporary members
- Preserve learning history, progress, submissions, and engagement data
- Cancel paid plans and disconnect integrations automatically on deactivation
- Reactivate members later without data loss
Remove Admins from Private Channels
Admins can now be removed from private chat channels (or remove themselves), just like any other member.
What’s new:
- Admins can remove themselves or other admins from chat channels, provided they are not the last admin in the channel
- Improved interface for managing user/group access to channels
Mobile App Improvements
We've made a series of improvements to our mobile app to deliver a stronger experience for learners on the go.
What’s new:
- The app now handles connection interruptions, keeping you informed instead of crashing unexpectedly
- Fixed issues where messages could disappear while typing, and improved navigation to conversations
- Polished navigation to provide a cleaner experience moving through products, quizzes, and pathways
