Disco Labs Features Now Available to Everyone

We’ve officially graduated several popular Labs features into general availability — no toggle required.

Now available by default:

  • Time to Complete estimates on content
  • Member Directory App
  • Group Directory App
  • Product Tags for organizing learning programs

Onboarding Status Now Visible in the Members Table

Admins can now view each member’s onboarding status directly in the Members table — making it easier to spot progress, bottlenecks, or drop-off at a glance.

Also available in:

  • CSV exports
  • Dynamic table display (the column is hidden if onboarding steps are not set up)

Why it matters: Quickly track who’s getting stuck, support new learners proactively, and scale onboarding clarity without spreadsheets.

Automation Upgrades: Smarter Templates, Better Timing, Deeper Filters

We’ve expanded our automation toolkit to give operators more power, flexibility, and precision — whether you’re triggering nudges, powering workflows, or personalizing communications.

Here’s what’s new:

1. New Automation Templates

We’ve added 6 new out-of-the-box automation templates designed to show off the full power of Disco workflows — with dynamic content, flexible triggers, and real-world scenarios. Explore them directly in the Automations tab of your Disco community.

2. Expanded Macro Support in Messages & Emails

You can now use contextual macros like product.name, module.name, and community.name inside your automation messages and emails — not just user.name.

3. Time-Based Triggers Around Product Dates

  • New Trigger: Product Start Date
  • Updated Trigger: Product End Date (now includes Before/After options)

You can now schedule automations to run before, after, or on key program dates — using custom timeframes in days, weeks, or months.

Example:

  • Send pre-start checklists 3 days before a product begins
  • Trigger a follow-up message 1 month after a course ends

4. Completion-Based Filters

  • Module Completion Filter: Target members who have or haven’t completed a specific module
  • Curriculum % Filter: Filter by progress range (e.g. 0–50% complete)

Why this matters: You can now trigger tailored nudges based on exactly where a learner is in your program — without manual tracking.
